Drain Cleaning

We offer a comprehensive range of drain cleaning solutions tailored to meet the needs of homeowners.

Chemical Drain Cleaners

Store-bought chemical drain cleaners use harsh ingredients like lye or acid to try to dissolve a clog. They may move a minor slow drain, but they can also damage pipes and are hard on the environment. We do not sell bottled chemical drain cleaners, and we do not recommend pouring them down your drains. Repeated use can corrode older cast iron and damage the seals and plastic in newer lines, the caustic liquid often just sits on top of a full blockage, and it does very little against the two things that actually clog Charleston and Lowcountry homes: hardened grease and root intrusion. If the chemical does not work, that caustic water is still in the line when we open it up. Instead of a product, we clear the line mechanically. For most household clogs we cable, or snake, the drain to cut through the blockage and pull it out. For grease, scale, and roots, or for a line that keeps backing up, we use hydro-jetting to scour the pipe walls with high-pressure water, and we camera the line so we can see whether the problem is a clog or a broken pipe. See all of our residential drain cleaning services, or our commercial hydro-jetting for restaurants and other commercial kitchens. If you have already poured a chemical cleaner down the drain, tell us when you call so our tech can protect themselves and flush the line safely. We are licensed in South Carolina, SC CLM.118214.
