Welcome to plumbx.com (the “Site”), operated by PlumbX Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Site and the plumbing services we provide. By accessing or using the Site or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.

1. Use of the Site

Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to use the Site or request services.

Permitted Use
The Site is intended for personal or business use to request plumbing services, obtain quotes, or contact us. You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could harm others or disrupt the Site’s operation.

Account Responsibility
If you create an account, you’re responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activities under your account.

2. Services

Service Requests
You may request plumbing services (e.g., repairs, installations) via the Site, by phone at 843-405-8800, or by email at workorders@plumbx.com. All service availability, pricing, and scheduling are subject to confirmation by PlumbX Inc.

Quotes and Estimates
Any quotes are based on the information you provide and are considered estimates. Final costs may change due to unforeseen issues, additional work, or material needs. We will always notify you before proceeding.

Service Standards
All services are performed with professional skill and care. We use licensed plumbers as required under South Carolina law.

3. Payments

Pricing
Service fees, including labor, materials, and applicable taxes, will be outlined in your quote or invoice. Additional charges may apply for emergency or after-hours work as agreed.

Payment Terms
Unless otherwise arranged, payment is due upon completion of service. We accept credit cards, checks, cash, and ACH. Late payments may incur interest or fees as permitted by law.

Refunds
Refunds for prepaid services are handled on a case-by-case basis, based on the work performed and our cancellation policy (see Section 5).

4. Intellectual Property

Ownership
All content on the Site—including text, logos, and images—is owned by PlumbX Inc. or its licensors and protected by copyright and trademark laws.

Limited License
We grant you a non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Site for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without our written consent.

5. Cancellations and Modifications

By You
To cancel a scheduled service, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee, which will be outlined at the time of booking.

By Us
We may cancel or reschedule a service due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., severe weather, staffing issues, emergencies). If that happens, we’ll notify you and offer alternatives or a refund, where appropriate.

6. Warranties and Disclaimers

Service Warranty
We warrant that our services will be performed in a workmanlike manner. Specific warranties on parts or labor will be communicated at the time of service. Contact workorders@plumbx.com for any warranty inquiries.

Disclaimer
Except where explicitly stated, all services and Site content are provided “as is.” We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We cannot guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PlumbX Inc. and its employees, officers, or agents shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (such as loss of profits or property damage beyond our control). Our maximum liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the service in question.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold PlumbX Inc. harmless from any claims, losses, damages, or legal expenses resulting from your misuse of the Site, violation of these Terms, or your actions during the service process (e.g., providing incorrect property access information).

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, we’ll first attempt to resolve the issue informally. If unresolved, disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration in North Charleston, SC under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where we may seek legal action for unpaid fees or property damage.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Site or our services at our discretion, with or without notice, particularly in cases of Terms violations or suspected illegal activity. Sections 6–9 and 11 will survive termination.
